Return update released, patch notes revealed

back Developer Housemarque has released a new update for the popular PlayStation 5 title. back Patch 3.03 appears to largely fix a number of bugs, but it does make changes to the difficulty of Sisyphus Tower, a recently added survival challenge where players try to get as high as possible before they are defeated. Since the balance has been adjusted for the difficulty of the Sisyphus Tower, the leaderboards have also been reset.

Returning Update 3.03 will balance the difficulty in Sisyphus’ Tower. As a result of the update, the leaderboards will be reset.

Bug fixes:

Sisyphus Tower: Audio Record 94 has been added to an additional location in the tower

Sisyphus Tower: Fixed a rare issue where Algos might refuse to die or die early in the Tower

Sisyphus Tower: Increased scrolling speed in the leaderboard

cooperative: Fixed several issues where the client or host might encounter a black screen or get stuck when navigating between biomes during co-op

cooperative: Multiple minor gameplay bugs fixed

cooperative: Fixed two rare crashes in co-op mode

Tanner Dedmon of ComicBook.com gave the title 4.5 out of 5 in his review. “back It may not trump the other titles anticipated for the Game of the Year awards at the end of the year, but it will by no means be forgotten as the potential of next-generation hardware is explored,” the review reads in part.
